My votes for the 2016 federal election

Nationally, I am endorsing the removal of the Liberal/National government of Malcolm Turnbull. I am supporting a government led by the Australian Labor Party with Bill Shorten as Prime Minister.

I also support a significant presence of competent minor parties in the Senate, particularly the Greens, to act as a robust House of Review and to give strong guidance to the government in policy direction.

My vote on July 2 in the House of Representatives seat of Reid, based upon my assessment of both the candidates and the parties they represent, will be:

1. Alice Mantel (Greens)
2. Angelo Tsirekas (Labor)
3. Craig Laundy (Liberal)
4. Marylou Carter (Family First)
5. Chris Kang (Christian Democrats)

For the Senate in New South Wales, I am voting above the line. My six selections are:

1. Countryminded
2. Greens
3. Labor
4. Socialist Alliance
5. The Arts Party
6. The Pirate Party

For the record, all my votes at the past four Federal Elections are also online: 2004, 2007, 2010, and 2013.
